3.74% Three-Peptide Complex: GHK-Cu + Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38 + Hexapeptide-11 • Skin-Identical Multi-Lamellar Ceramides, Cholesterol + Phytosphingosine • 17.96% Four-Humectant System with 5.28% Panthenol • GLA-Rich Borage Seed Oil + Blue Globe Daisy Callus Culture • Designed for Dry, Mature, Hormonally Changing Skin
Named for the skin’s natural lamellar lipid structure, LAMELLARE™ is designed around the layered architecture that helps the barrier retain water and stay resilient. A 3.74% three-peptide complex of GHK-Cu, palmitoyl tripeptide-38 and hexapeptide-11 works through complementary pathways to target the look of fine lines, firmness and elasticity, supported by blue globe daisy callus culture. A skin-identical, multi-lamellar complex of ceramides, cholesterol and phytosphingosine helps reinforce the barrier’s lipid layers. A 17.96% four-humectant system of glycerin, 5.28% panthenol, sodium PCA and saccharide isomerate draws in and holds moisture, while GLA-rich borage seed oil replenishes essential lipids.
LAMELLARE™ is made for skin that is changing: dry to very dry, mature or hormonally shifting skin that looks thinner, feels less supple and never seems to stay moisturized for long. It approaches aging as more than lines, addressing dryness, lipid loss, fragility and loss of firmness at once, because in changing skin they tend to arrive together.
Ideal for:
A rich, cushioning crème that combines three peptides, a multi-lamellar ceramide complex and lipid-rich plant oils. It improves the look of firmness, suppleness and fine lines, while replenishing the barrier and helping skin hold on to moisture.
The result is skin that feels comfortable and nourished all day, and looks firmer, smoother and more supple over time.
Structural change: with age, the skin’s supporting structure changes, and skin can look thinner and less firm. GHK-Cu, palmitoyl tripeptide-38 and hexapeptide-11 target the look of firmness, elasticity and texture.
Barrier lipid depletion: mature skin produces fewer of the lipids that hold its surface together, which leaves it drier and more easily irritated. Ceramides, cholesterol, phytosphingosine and borage seed oil help replenish them.
Dehydration: skin’s ability to hold water declines with age. A 17.96% four-humectant system of glycerin, 5.28% panthenol, sodium PCA and saccharide isomerate helps it attract and keep moisture.
Hormones shape skin more than most skincare acknowledges. In women, declining estrogen during perimenopause and menopause is linked to drier, thinner-feeling skin and a weaker barrier. In men, an age-related decline in androgen activity is linked to lower sebum and drier skin. In both cases, several changes happen at once, so LAMELLARE™ addresses them together instead of one at a time.
At its center is GHK-Cu, a copper peptide first isolated from human plasma in 1973 by the biochemist Loren Pickart. It occurs naturally in the body, and its levels in the blood are reported to decline with age. It’s paired with palmitoyl tripeptide-38, a signaling peptide selected to support the look of the skin’s underlying structure, and hexapeptide-11.
Borage seed oil is one of the richest plant sources of GLA (gamma-linolenic acid), an omega-6 fatty acid involved in the skin’s lipid biology. It helps cushion and soften skin that feels increasingly dry with age and hormonal change.
Some of the most resilient plants grow where conditions are hardest. The blue globe daisy, Globularia cordifolia, clings to bare alpine rock. Its cell culture is studied for hormesis: the principle that a small, well-measured challenge prompts living cells to strengthen their own defenses. It is the same principle behind The Layland Method™, applied at the scale of a single ingredient.
3.74% three-peptide complex: GHK-Cu, palmitoyl tripeptide-38 and hexapeptide-11, with complementary roles, targeting the look of fine lines, firmness and elasticity.
Multi-lamellar ceramide complex: ceramides NP, AP and EOP, cholesterol and phytosphingosine, biomimetic lipids arranged in layers like the skin’s own barrier, to help reduce moisture loss.
Borage seed oil: the richest GLA source of any commonly used plant oil, with 18–26% GLA, two to three times more than evening primrose oil. Skin can’t make GLA on its own, and the body converts it less efficiently with age. Applied to the skin, borage oil delivers GLA directly, along with linoleic acid, which skin uses to build its barrier ceramides. It helps soften and replenish dry, lipid-depleted and changing skin.
Shea butter and rice bran oil: a rich, cushioned feel without heaviness.
17.96% four-humectant system: glycerin, 5.28% panthenol, sodium PCA and saccharide isomerate, to help skin attract and hold water.
Blue globe daisy (Globularia cordifolia) callus culture: an alpine plant cell culture studied for a hormetic effect, helping skin activate its own defense and renewal processes. Included to help skin look more radiant, even and resilient.
The name comes from the lamellae: the thin, stacked layers of lipids between the cells of the skin’s outer layer. Like the mortar between bricks, they hold the surface together and limit water loss. When they thin, as they do with age and hormonal change, skin becomes drier, more fragile and slower to recover.
LAMELLARE™ is built around rebuilding that structure: peptides for the look of firmness beneath, and lipids that resemble the skin’s own for the barrier above.

Morning and/or evening. Warm a pearl-sized amount between your fingertips and press it onto the face, neck and décolleté.
As part of The Layland Method™:
Rest nights: apply BUFFÈRE™, then LAMELLARE™. For very dry skin, finish with BASTINA™.
Active nights: after LISSE™ or RÉAU™, follow with LAMELLARE™ and/or BASTINA™.
Morning: apply after ROWANE™ and finish with a broad-spectrum SPF 50, preferably non-nano zinc oxide.
Note: avoid layering LAMELLARE™ with low-pH L-ascorbic acid vitamin C serums, which can interfere with copper peptides. ROWANE™ uses gentler vitamin C forms, so the two can be layered in the morning.
