RÉAU™ is a comforting retinoid concentrate that supports visible skin renewal through several complementary pathways, while helping keep skin hydrated and its barrier intact.

  • Retinyl linoleate: an omega-rich retinoid ester that provides a gradual source of vitamin A, designed for better skin compatibility.
  • Bakuchiol: helps support smoother, firmer, more even-looking skin without being a retinoid itself.
  • CoQ10: complements retinoid care by helping defend against oxidative stress, a key contributor to visible skin aging.
  • Nutrient-dense, omega-rich lipids: help support hydration, comfort and the skin barrier throughout the process.

Over time, RÉAU™ visibly improves the look of fine lines, texture, tone, firmness and overall skin quality.

Structural decline: retinyl linoleate, bakuchiol, CoQ10 and omega-rich botanical lipids help support skin renewal, firmness and elasticity.

Barrier breakdown: linoleic acid, phospholipids, nutrient-rich botanical oils and barrier-supportive lipids help replenish the barrier throughout the renewal process.

Dehydration: a concentrated blend of botanical oils, butters, squalane and omega fatty acids helps replenish moisture and improve skin comfort.

Retinoids don’t have to compromise the skin barrier. Traditional vitamin A products often focus only on speeding up skin renewal, leaving the barrier vulnerable to dryness and irritation.

RÉAU™ takes a different approach. At its heart is retinyl linoleate, an omega-rich retinoid made by combining retinol with linoleic acid, an essential omega-6 fatty acid naturally found in healthy skin.

Exfoliating acids improve skin by removing dead cells from the surface. Retinoids work differently, through vitamin A pathways, to encourage healthier skin renewal and improve the look of firmness, fine lines, texture and overall skin quality over time.

RÉAU™ suspends this retinoid in a nutrient-dense blend of lipids that nourishes the skin while supporting healthier-looking renewal.

  • Retinyl linoleate: combines retinol with linoleic acid. It delivers vitamin A while also releasing an essential fatty acid naturally found in healthy skin, helping support the barrier throughout renewal.
  • Bakuchiol: complements vitamin A through a different pathway, supporting visible skin renewal and improving the look of fine lines and uneven tone.
  • Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10): provides antioxidant support and helps defend skin against the oxidative stress associated with visible aging.
  • Nutrient-dense lipid blend: meadowfoam, rice bran, chia seed and goldenberry seed oils, cupuaçu and shea butters, squalane, phospholipids and naturally occurring phytosterols replenish moisture and help reinforce the skin barrier.
  • Bisabolol: supports skin comfort and helps improve tolerance throughout the renewal process.

RÉAU™ takes its name from the French word renouveau, meaning renewal. Skin is constantly renewing itself, but this natural process slows with age. Vitamin A has long been recognized as one of the most effective ingredients for supporting visible skin renewal, but traditional retinoids often come with unnecessary discomfort.

Warm one to two dabs between your fingertips and gently press onto clean, dry skin across the face, neck and décolleté, avoiding the eye area. Follow with BUFFÈRE™.
Sensitive skin: apply BUFFÈRE™ first as a cushioning layer, let it settle for 30 to 60 seconds, then apply RÉAU™.
First time? Patch test on the inner arm or behind the ear for a few days before using it on your face.

WHEN TO USE

Use in the evening only, on active nights. Start with two to three evenings per week and increase as tolerated.

  • Active nights: PASTÈSE™, then RÉAU™, then BUFFÈRE™.
  • Don’t use on the same night as LISSE™. Alternate retinoid nights and exfoliation nights.
  • Don’t use LAMELLARE™ or BASTINA™ on the same night.
  • The next morning: apply BUFFÈRE™ and finish with a broad-spectrum non-nano zinc SPF 50.
  • Avoid during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
