BALMEA™ is a rich conditioning brow baume designed to soften and condition dry, coarse brow hairs. Its concentrated wax-and-lipid texture initially feels substantial, then softens and settles into the brows, leaving them smoother, more supple, and naturally groomed without stiffness or residue.

At the heart of the formula is highly purified European Pharmacopoeia Grade Lanolin, paired with botanical oils, butters and protective waxes. The result is a dense, concentrated baume that helps smooth and shape the brows while conditioning hairs that may feel increasingly coarse, dry, or unruly.
Unlike brow gels that dry down to create stiffness, BALMEA™ provides soft, flexible definition. Only a very small amount is needed.
Every ingredient in BALMEA™ was selected to contribute to its conditioning, emollient, or grooming properties.
At the heart of the formula is European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.) Grade Lanolin, highly purified according to stringent pharmaceutical quality standards. Lanolin is an exceptional emollient with an affinity for both hair and skin, helping soften and condition while giving the formula its distinctive richness and pliability.
A Conditioning Lipid Network featuring castor oil, cocoa butter, sunflower lecithin, and radish seed oil helps soften and smooth brow hairs.
A Flexible Wax Network of beeswax, candelilla wax, and microcrystalline wax provides structure and grip, helping groom hairs into place while maintaining a natural-looking finish.
Vitamin E provides antioxidant support to help protect the formula and complement its conditioning lipid system.
BALMEA™ takes its name from Balmea stormiae, a rare flowering tree native to the cloud forests of Mexico and Central America whose remaining wild populations are considered at risk. Its name reflects our belief that preservation extends beyond the skin to the natural world that inspires every Steinder Weisen™ formulation.
The formula draws inspiration from one of the world’s oldest grooming and protective materials: wool wax.
For centuries, lanolin-rich wool wax has been valued for its remarkable ability to soften and protect skin and hair from harsh environmental conditions. Nearly two thousand years ago, the Greek physician Pedanius Dioscorides documented purified wool grease, known as oesypus, in De Materia Medica. It later became an important component of traditional European ointments and, by the nineteenth century, purified lanolin was established within European pharmacopeias.

To open, gently press down on the cap while twisting counterclockwise.
Use very sparingly, a little goes a long way. Warm a trace amount between fingertips or pick up a small amount with a clean brow brush. Smooth through clean, dry brows in the direction of hair growth, then shape as desired.
For a softer, natural finish, use fingertips. For greater definition and separation, groom through with a spoolie.
Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
