At its core is a 6.46% eight-peptide complex, paired with liposomal caffeine, silica-rich horsetail, silk amino acids and Kigelia africana, the African “sausage tree” with a fascinating ethnobotanical history. Tonga women of the Zambezi Valley have traditionally used preparations of Kigelia fruit cosmetically on the face, while traditional use in Eastern Africa has also included Kigelia preparations for skin tightening and breast firming. Modern research has begun to validate this traditional use, identifying bioactive compounds in Kigelia associated with antioxidant activity and skin-supportive effects relevant to firmness and elasticity. Today, Kigelia extracts have moved from traditional African preparations into modern cosmetic formulations for the face, body and bust, where they are used specifically in firming and toning products. Warm one to two dabs between your fingertips before gently pressing onto clean, dry skin. Begin at the center of the face, gliding outward and upward. Continue beneath the jawline, sweeping upward along the neck toward the chin. Massage across the décolleté from the center of the chest toward the shoulders, then continue onto the bust and arms using gentle upward circular motions.
